An Introduction is in Order

Hello, and good evening!

You might be wondering, what in the world is an Emerald Stalker, and isn't that a little too creepy for a blog name? Well, yes and no. It would be too creepy, except it isn't a blog about that kind of stalking. It isn't really a blog about any kind of stalking, really, the title comes from the name of the strange Guild Wars 2 fan fiction that I'm writing.

So over the next however-long-this-takes-me-to-write, I will be posting different sections to the story that's been nagging in my brain. I call it The Emerald Stalker, and have placed a few of my main playable characters from the game Guild Wars 2. If you're a fan of Guild Wars 2, you may like my story. Or you may not, because honestly I am not a very good gamer. I enjoy playing, and even though I have given my characters an oppressive pile of back story, I don't even get into the role playing aspects of MMOs. Sorry guys! Simply put, this is my interpretation of how some characters might go about doing something within the universe of Tyria.

A brief synopsis of part one:

An Asura, and two Sylvari plan to meet in a tavern. (That might be that start of a good joke, except I write fiction, not jokes. No jokes here. Humor not allowed.) In any case, the Asura Mesmer arrives first and encounters trouble with the citizens of the Shire of Beetletun, a human town near Queensdale. She finds that throwing big words around, like imbecile and simpleton, aren't well received in a place that doesn't trust outsiders.

Yeah. Trouble is a-foot, dear readers, as plots and puddings thicken! I will be posting part one very shortly. I wanted to post it already, but I thought an introduction was in order. By the way, I don't own Guild Wars or have stock in it nor do I expect anyone to read this and think it is official lore. So, yeah, I don't want to get sued. I don't even own that picture up there. Let's just all assume I don't own nothin' nor will I ever get paid for any of it. So.... YAY! Let's get started, shall we?
